- Do I have to remove my tiles to fix a leaking shower?
- Often not. Many leaking showers can be repaired with a re-grout and a tile-over membrane system. We only recommend a full strip-out when the substrate or falls are the real problem — and we'll show you why.
- How much does waterproofing cost?
- It depends on the area, access and what's failed. That's exactly why the inspection and quote are free — you get a fixed written price before anything starts, not a vague hourly rate.
- Do you work with strata and property managers?
- Yes. We regularly work through strata companies on common property, balconies and roofs, and provide the reports and photos managers need to sign off.
- Where in Sydney do you work?
- Sydney-wide — Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Hills, South and the West.
- How soon can you come out?
- Most inspections are booked within a few days, and we'll always tell you honestly if an active leak needs to jump the queue.
- What makes your shower repair and restoration work different?
- We follow a 5-tier waterproofing system built for longevity, not a quick patch — and we repair the structural and water damage behind the leak, not just the surface. We're confident enough in it to back our showers with up to a 5-year material and labour warranty, depending on the job scope and system used.
- How long does a typical waterproofing job take?
- It depends on the size of the area, the system being installed and the weather — most bathrooms and balconies are a few days including cure and flood-test time. We give you the timeline in writing with the quote and we don't rush curing to hit a date.
- Are your waterproofing services covered by a warranty?
- Yes. All work comes with a written workmanship guarantee, and our showers carry up to a 5-year material and labour warranty depending on the job scope and system used. You get the paperwork, photos and product details on completion.
- How do I know if my property needs waterproofing?
- Look for water stains, bubbling or peeling paint, mould, musty smells, damp skirting boards, efflorescence (white salt marks) or drummy tiles. Any of those and it's worth a free inspection before the damage spreads into the structure.
- What maintenance is needed after the job is done?
- Very little, but not none — keep drains and weep holes clear, re-check silicone joints yearly and avoid harsh acidic cleaners on grout. We'll give you a maintenance rundown for the exact system we install, and we're happy to do periodic check-ups.
- Do you offer a free inspection before quoting?
- Always. We inspect on site, find the actual source of the water, then give you a detailed fixed written quote for your specific job — no phone estimates, no guesswork.
- Can you help with emergency waterproofing?
- Yes. Active leaks get priority — call us and we'll assess it fast, make it safe, and give you a plan for the permanent repair rather than a band-aid.
